FIFA Futsal World Cup Uzbekistan 2024

Josh Wilkens was appointed to the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024 Uzbekistan, his second FIFA Futsal World Cup having also represented the United States at the 2021 edition in Lithuania. Josh officiated six matches at the tournament:
Group D: New Zealand v Libya
(Third Referee)
Group A: Uzbekistan v Paraguay
(Second Referee)
Group C: Argentina v Afghanistan
(Timekeeper)
Group E: Portugal v Tajikistan
(Timekeeper)
Group C: Ukraine v Afghanistan
(Third Referee)
Round of 16: Portugal v Kazakhstan
(Reserve AR)
Also joining Josh at the tournament was Shane Butler as one of only four referee assessors and instructors. Shane performed assessments on eight matches during the tournament, as well as providing instruction to the appointed panel of match officials.

UEFA Futsal EURO 2026 is the second edition since the switch from the biennial 12-team tournament to a 16-nation finals held every four years, following Netherlands 2022.
There are 48 entrants, with co-hosts Latvia and Lithuania progressing direct to the final tournament and 46 others in qualifying. England return having not taken part in 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup qualifying.
